Easy Lavender Scones

This recipe is just so easy! It's a modern take on traditional scones and with the twist of lavender added, it will be a hit.

  • 3 1/2 cups Self-raising flour
  • 300 mls Cream
  • 200 mls Lemonade
  • 2 tspn culinary lavender or to taste


  1. Sift flour, add the culinary lavender and stir.

  2. Combine lemonade and cream.

  3. Create a well in the flour mix and pour wet ingredients into it.

  4. Mix and knead well together.

  5. Roll out about 3cms thick on floured board.

  6. Cut into rounds and place on a lightly greased tray, brush tops with milk and place in hot oven (200°C) and cook until nicely browned.

Recipe Notes

Serving suggestion: These scones are delicious served with a cup of tea or coffee and just butter, jam & cream or cheese.
