Easy Lavender Scones

This recipe is just so easy. It's a modern take on traditional scones and with the twist of lavender added, it will be a hit.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups Self-raising flour
  • 300 ml Cream
  • 200 ml Lemonade
  • 2 tspn Culinary lavender or to taste

Instructions

  • Sift flour, add the culinary lavender and stir.
  • Combine lemonade and cream.
  • Create a well in the flour mix and pour wet ingredients into it.
  • Mix and knead well together.
  • Roll out about 3cms thick on floured board.
  • Cut into rounds and place on a lightly greased tray, brush tops with milk and place in hot oven (200°C) and cook until nicely browned.

Notes

Serving suggestion: These scones are delicious served with a cup of tea or coffee and just butter, jam & cream or cheese.
